|| wondrous things, past present future ||

inventory:

*the lunch ladies played. we did not barf. we did not break out in laughter. our voices didn't succumb to the nervy warbling that regularly graces karaoke and living room dress rehearsals. i think we were quite good. hooray hooray. the show was a success. we drank lots of beer. on the drive home we called everyone we could think of to sing our hit single or a hacked up version of air supply's 'even the nights are better.'

*coming home sunday night to find we had been visited by a friendly ghost: a mysterious construction paper poster graced with owen's handwriting taped to our front door and a parliament light neatly pinned beneath my windshield wiper. no note.

*molly flying through berkeley at rapid speeds while on her mad dash up and down and around the fair country, pausing just long enough to catch her breath and straighten her patented hair clip and endure the infamy of the emeryville denny's.

*the upcoming wedding this weekend, where so many northern california(and seattle! and portland!) friendlies will mingle with so many of the southern california friendlies, and me mum and dad. cannot wait to see the state of the dance floor. cannot stop obsessing over the dance floor scene.

*sweet sweet brian is moving in very soon. that is one of the best things i can think of.

*kelly is coming here, she really is. i could bake a million vegetarian casseroles to show my gratitude and unabashed elation, i could.
