my dear dear diaryland friends:

i am reading at a real live bookstore this weekend and would be so excited if you could be there. to fill up seats and clap and sit suggestively so that i may properly imagine you in your underwear.

i'm reading an excerpt from my novel, man, and there will be a handful of other soon-to-be-famous novelists reading too. but you know. i just want you to be there to see me.
