|| o saturday in october! ||

we saw harold and maude in dolores park last night: almost the entire population of san francisco aged 21 - 35 heaped on blankets and smuggling booze and singing along to cat stevens. lovely. we drank bailey's and coffee and passed around candy and got a contact high from all the reefer wafting around. we squealed at the part when harold is lying there shirtless - what is it about seeing movies in a group that magnifies reactions? screaming and clapping and laughing too hard for what the scene warranted. party of seven walked down the hill with blankets and sleeping bags, snuck into matt's tattoo parlor to pee, hiked over to the zeitgeist for serious outdoor drinking. jaime and i bought paper-bagged twenty-twos at the liquor store and drank as fast as humanly possible outside the bar. jason's boy posse showed up and we kicked around rocks and lost any hope for a picnic table. sweet j.l. was druunk, s's boobs have gotten bigger, m's hair is remarkably like harold's, j and brother j got into a heated argument over cowboy's humping horses. we decided to leave and walked through the mission back to m's car. j and i went to the hemlock to meet boys. i got home late late to an empty house with roommates away, leaving a trail of sweaters and sleeping bag and blankets in the living room.
