2001-07-19 || 5:33 p.m. || being crafty in apartment twenty. || it is very exciting to me to be up late making things. cutting bits of cardboard and national geographic photos. using a ruler to make everything just so. pencil marks and eraser jagging against paper. lovely mod podge applied with a brush. snotty movies playing in the background (don't look back. pierrot le fou). ideas jumping off the plaid couch into my head. aha! wire! and twine! broken glass? meow meow tries to sit in paint, on the blade of my scissors, on the cutting board. she chews scraps of paper and carries them off to fight in the hallway. at night in the dark i hear her with her collection of cardboard and twine, trying to find ways into the walls and plumbing. guestbook || notes || archives || profile || photos || d-land |
