|| wednesday boo-gie ||

it's been non-stop action over here. non-stop cat hair-scissor-scottish pub action. last night i watched ballroom dancing until brian showed up (item: i will be a ballroom dancer when i grow up. i need a dancin partner. dial now, operators in sequins are standing by.) armed with a wee cake topped with a chocolate drizzly hair-do in honor of our hair-cut proceedings. how wonderful is that? we watched pbs and i cut cut cut in the way only future ballroom dancers can. b got all sassed up and we consumed mass amounts of said hair cut cake while standing in the hallway. best hair cut cake ever. best hair cut present ever. then we drove like mad, hair clippings taking flight off shoulders and noses through open windows, to the edinburgh castle and met up with all kinds of lovelies for. club lovely. molly was there and all kinds of the sweet ones. there was a wee bit of dancing, my favorite part being the strolly bit, all sassy-like. i was trying to figure out what molls thought of it all. i realized how californian/clublovelyesque it is to wear scarves indoors, to show up at every social event in black knee socks, gadz.

i need a new angle.

or more knee socks.

or. some kind of really great sequiny jumpsuit that will come in quite handy for when i make the ballroom dancing debut.

but. it was very nice. and short. and sweet. matt in his suit and jeff with his dance moves and lucinder and the comforter-y coat.

and boner jokes.

and vodka gimlets.

and san francisco and staying out late-ish and being this age and collapsing into bed quite pleased.

(dear molly, i am so glad we got to hang out. i wish nothing but down-under pants and lemony snickets. p.s. sorry again about slappin yer bum, however much i liked it. p.p.s hee-hee-har.)
