|| Better than a dog or car ||

from my best best friend. who can't seem to be bothered to write in his own damn diary:

"woke up early and ate fried tofu on toast and drank black coffee with dan and andrea. its that wonderfully chilly sunny winter now. cold so cold. drove to get oil changed for $15. in the meantime walked to a st vincent de paul distribution warehouse and bought some slacks for $.25 and then walked through a vacant lot and picked through some debris. found some interesting cracked tiles. thought that if you lived here we could go on foraging walks. keep eyes peeled to pavement for scraps of paper and broken bits. how we could walk down by the waterfront, where my studio is, and find discarded furnature and coffee pots. i then came home, gathered my coin jar and walked to fred meyer to exhange coins for 9.52 in cash and bought some vegitables and orange juice. went to the library and got two books on bear cubs. (dan amelia and me are going to have a permanent wall of prints in the downtown stumptown coffee shop) and walked about a bit more, wrapped in scarf and coat, home. made stir fry and tried to cut my hair. stood too long in front of the mirror and realized that i needed you. to cut my hair. amounst other things."
