|| news and olds ||

we drove 1,760 pounds of gallery junk (two mattresses, two desks, three garbage cans of wood, two large crates of particle board, five canvases (two nudes) to the dump. standing on the back of the truck and hoisting all that matter onto the pile felt good, cathartic, although i kept worrying we would get yelled at for not placing recyclables in the proper bins.

it has been raining forever and i still like it.

i got quite intoxicated at a workplace happy hour last night and i fear co-workers were onto me. i am a cheap date easy drunk, and my old man author friend called me on it right there in the kitchen. he drank a diet coke.

owen is in chicago by now, barring any problems with the van, and i think of that more often than you would expect.
