2001-05-25 || 3:56 p.m. || oh my heart. || oh my goodness. my heart is breaking. i am em still at work and one work lady has a mad ukelele obsession so friday afternoons are ukelele fridays and she subjects everyone to burt bacharach and petula clark and cat stevens and the like. so today she has it out and is singing 'wishin and prayin and hopin..' and this other work lady joins in singing and this other work lady starts talking along, saying 'yeah?' and 'i like that!' and 'what's i got to do?' and oh. it was great. i would have given my left arm and eyeballs to have a microphone at that minute. that was feckin beautiful. guestbook || notes || archives || profile || photos || d-land |
